On Sunday 8th August, we are holding the Ridout Cup 2021 tournament – this long-established trophy event is named after Major Ridout and dedicated in memory of him by his wife, a key member of our club for many years.
It is a Mixed Doubles Competition and for this Competition you keep the same partner for the whole afternoon. Free entry and open to Full Playing Members only.
You can choose your own partner or you can come on the day and pairs will be allocated ; please let Wendy know any pairs by Friday 6th August.
If you choose your own partner please be aware of the following: Players who currently play or have played for the 1st Team CANNOT play with either current or former 1st Team players. This is to even up the couples and ensure everybody has an enjoyable afternoon. Couples are divided into two groups who play in a round robin format and the winners of each group play each other in a final.
