UPDATE – eventually the weather was reasonable enough for us to hold this keenly contested tournament leading to a final round playoff, in which Vicky and Simon were narrowly victorious over Dene and Des; a photo of Christine presenting the Plate to the winners is on our Gallery page; thanks to all who participated and particularly to Wendy for all the time and organisation she has put in to mounting our tournaments.
This rain-delayed Club Trophy tournament will now take place on Sunday 29th September, 1.30 pm start.
The event is free of charge and is open to full adult members, full pension age members and full junior members.
This is a Mixed event. You stay with the same partner all afternoon and you can choose your own partner. Please let Wendy know asap of any pairings. You can turn up on the day in the hope that we can put pairings together, but there is no guarantee of a partner.
As happened at the Winstanley Shield, if we have uneven numbers, then we allow same sex pairings to play, but they cannot go through to the final, as this is a Mixed Tournament. We will do our very best not to turn anyone away on the day
